The Wilburton is the perfect place to Bring Fido. Dogs can frolic safely on our 30-acre private estate and explore 10 acres of woods. We can recommend local dog walkers. You can book a mommy & me doggie massage in your room. Stretch out in our Dog Friendly vacation homes from 2 bedroom cottages to 6 bedroom homes a to 15 bedroom private mansion. All dogs get a welcome box of Vermont made organic Wagatha’s treats. At The Wilburton, there’s plenty of room to run four seasons a year.

Cavalier king Charles Spaniels Get the Royal Treatment
We specialize in family reunions and love helping Jetson spend quality time with his extended family. Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniels always stay free. All other breeds are welcome for an additional $40/night in hotel rooms and $125/per length of stay in vacation homes. Cav owners have traveled from 48 states to bring their dogs to visit Jetson! We were delighted to host a family of 4 cavs for a week this Christmas who drove 12 hours to visit.

This weekend paw-ty is so legendary, Yankee Magazine featured it in their 2022 holiday issue! Weekend events include:
• Friday evening Doggie Ugly Christmas Sweater Fashion Show with prizes.
• Saturday Delicious country inn breakfast featuring pancakes with Vermont maple syrup. Dogs welcome.
• Saturday 10am: Group doggie stroll through historic Manchester Village.
• Saturday 2pm: Holiday Party in The Wilburton Mansion with Caroling, Sweets & treats, Professional photos of your whole family in front of the christmas tree.
• Saturday 5:30 pm: Light Up Tractor Parade. Small town fun at its best! Our guests’ Wilburton float has won first prize for the past 2 years.
• Saturday 8 pm: Pajama Party with Pooches. Prizes for families in matching PJs.
• Sunday 8:30-10am: Delicious country inn breakfast. Dogs welcome!
Caution — a couple drove 15 hours from Indiana to bring their two dogs for Doggie Slumber Party and had such a great time - they moved to Vermont! We’ve had guests from Palm Beach Florida book their Doggie Slumber Party lodging before they even got their little dog home from the breeder. Call ahead as this special weekend always sell out.

We love helping couples say “I Do” and sharing their nuptials with their pooch. We have a special dog friendly bridal suite.

Jetson made his “Pup Close and Personal” National TV debut on Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl.

Animal Planet read about Jetson’s famous famous Doggie Slumber Parties and selected Stitch from the nearby Rutland County Humane Society to play on Puppy Bowl just so Stitch could be pampered at The Wilburton before heading off to the big competition! Jetson and a posse of fellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
True to Wilburton magic, Stitch found his forever home at our family farm. Now Stitch frolics on 200 acres of farmland at Earth Sky Time Farm with my brother Oliver, his wife Bonnie and their children. Now THAT’s a Happy Ending!
