Do IT YOURSELF WEDDINGS

THE BATTENKILL VALLEY MANSION is our most popular DIY venue. It's located on a very private 5 acre, pine lined property on River Road, just 1/2 a mile from the Wilburton Inn. The mansion has 15 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms and 21 beds. It sleeps a max capacity of 34 guests. In the summer we have a 4-night lodging minimum which costs $1750/night. The rest of the year, there is only a 2 night lodging minimum. In the off season of Nov-Christmas, and April and May till Memorial Day, lodging is discounted to $1500/night. There is an additional $350 linens, $600 housekeeping and 10% tax.

Battenkill Valley Wedding Facility Fees:
$1000 for events under 50
$1500 for events for 75 and under
$2500 for events with 100 guests.

Events with more than 50 guests require renting a tent and all the chairs, tables, flatware, stemware and lighting that goes inside the tent. The facility fee for events with less than 50 guests include the use of 50 white folding chairs, 6' rectangular folding tables, and stemware, flatware, and place settings for 50.

Our chef and farm are happy to cater your events. If you use an outside restauarant or vendor who uses the Battenkill Valley Mansion kitchen to prep (as opposed to bringing their own catering truck) then we charge a 10% surcharge on top of the catering costs.

Our inn can staff the event with servers at $35/hour, bartenders at $50/hour.

THE TACONIC MANSION is a stunning historic mansion located on a grand avenue in the heart of Manchester Village, an easy walk to the Equinox Hotel as well as Equinox Pond. This mansion has a separate two story carriage house with a elegant wooden bar and upstairs party space and brand new 1000' space for catered dining events. The 1000' veranda on the mansion is also a stunning place for a wedding ceremony and reception.

This is a decorator showcase mansion with a very distinguished history. Abraham Lincoln's son, Robert Todd Lincoln, was the first person to live in the home in the summers of 1901-1903. There are 11 bedrooms in the mansion and 2 bedrooms in the Carriage House and 9 bathrooms. There are elegant formal dining rooms, living rooms, and sun rooms for dining and entertaining.

The mansion lodging is $2500/night, the Carriage House is $500/night and the celebration facility fee for events under 40 guests is $2500.  We do not allow tents or pets on this property. There is an additional $350 linens, $600 housekeeping and 10% tax.

The Vermont Country Store shot their winter catalogue here. The Real Housewives of NJ and NYC tried to rent this mansion for their winter ski trips. We are very selective with our guests in this mansion.

Both of these homes offer fire pits. For more information call Melissa Levis, 917 680 6739.
