From a MILF seeking filmmaker to a lusty Vermont handyman and Latin ballroom dancer who swept her off her feet, Melissa and her band of bass, drums, and keyboard turned every adventure into a hot musical romp.

Melissa has been a New York City songwriter for 25 years before trading her Green Acres life for the Green Mountains of Manchester Vermont. Before becoming Tinderella, Melissa was a beloved children’s performer in New York City. The New York Post dubbed her “The Pied Piper in Pink” for she mesmerised thousands of children each year at performances in Central Park, the Plaza Hotel and FAO Schwartz leading her band “Moey’s Music Party.”
While an undergraduate at Brown University, she started writing and performing Custom Songs for special events. She’s written songs for presidential hopefulls and cabinent members, movie stars, CEOS, tycoons, and many lovely people. She created the band “Melissa and the Moguls” in East Hampton NY where their theme song “Ooh La La Hamptons” tied the Macarena for most requested song of summer in 1994. She wrote the Off-Broadway musical, “The Joys of Sex” and “Moey Live, P is for Party!” After decades performing in cafes of Berlin, the Plaza Hotel in New York City, Off-Broadway and at the Rainbow Room, Melissa is delighted to return to her favorite stage of all: the living room of the Wilburton Inn. Read an article here. She is tickled to be the R-Rated Maria Von Trapp and singing Vermont family innkeeper.
Ben Harris musical directs on piano, Mowgli Giannitti and Jay Sager join on bass and drums on Saturday, August 31st. For reservations call 802-362-2500.
