Breakfast With a Breathtaking View

Visitors travel from all over the world to enjoy bountiful breakfast at the Wilburton Inn, with endless vistas of the Green Mountains and Battenkill Valley.  Starting this week, you don’t have to be an overnight guest to enjoy breakfast with a view. The Wilburton Inn’s restaurant is now open to the public for breakfast Thursday through Monday, from 8 -10am and lodging guests every day from 8-10am.

Chef Lisa Richards raises her own hens and specializes in fluffy omelets made to order, with vegetables, cheese and organic herbs. Guests rave about her Bailey’s infused French Toast with a shot of Jamison whiskey spiked warm VT Maple Syrup. Lisa uses freshly milled local whole wheat Green Mountain Flour in her Blueberry Pancakes. She also wows guests with her Hippie Oatmeal, featuring steel cut oats simmered with flax, chia, and sunflower seeds, almonds, and dried appriots, cherries, and dates. Children enjoy Belgian waffles topped with whipped cream and berries and chocolate chip Pancakes (made with Green Mountain Flour). Please call for daily menu specials.

Breakfast begins with a variety of artisan breads from Earth Sky Time Community Farm & Bakery, and self serve coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit salad & Greek yogurt. For those who wish to start their morning with a little zing, there are breakfast cocktails such as Mimosas, Bellinis and Irish Coffee.

Guests may enjoy breakfast outside under the awning, on the marble hillside terrace or indoors in the bright breakfast dining room of the 1902 mansion - all with breathtaking views. Private dining and catering is available for corporate breakfast meetings as well. Groups are welcome with advance reservation,
